We made this decision after taking into consideration the gaming community's bad reactions to the potential new name.

Good for Asmodee! Anyone can make a mistake, but it's refreshing to see a company recognize one was made and take steps to reverse it. Snow Tails is a mush (ah, excuse me, much) better name than Too Mush!

Now, the real question is, does this game have a legitimate shot at an SdJ nomination?

I'm betting on Snow Tails for the win, if it meets all the release, distributor, etc. criteria.

From the pictures uploaded, it looks like most of the game art was re-done.

It's more realistic, and looks quite nice.

Yes it does. One thing I noticed is that they used the same green for the wooden trees and the "green" sledge, is it too late to use a different green?

And, if Asmodee is still listening, how easy would be to include a 6th player? We are now used to 6 player race games, and Snow Tails being limited to 5 is an issue for us...

:(
Adding a color and the extra bits for a sixth player would be easy enough (aside from the likely overall cost impact), but the track itself would be a problem - it's only five lanes wide.

Well, in Ave Caesar the tracks are mostly two lanes wide. I don't know, I have never played Snow Tails, but I guess that during most of the race the five sledges are not side-by-side? In Ave Caesar you just try to be not too far away from the leader until the last 3rd of the race, where the decision comes, I guess that here it won't be too different?

The only change you'd need is the start piece to be 6 lanes wide. After that, you jockey for position.

Yeh come on Gordon, or I'll tell the world that we beat you when you demonstrated Snow Tails to us at Essen.

And then we bought 2 copies.

Ever feel you've been hussled?

Hi Michael,

We haven't forgotten about this. We're discussing possibilities with Asmodee at the moment, but there are some logistics to work out first

cheers,
Fraser
