A size comparison of the different component upgrades available from Lookout Games itself, after-market component producer MayDay Games, and Target animeeples.
The seam ruler is set to 1 inch, as well as the Agricola board and a wooden room tile being included for scale.
Note also that the MayDay website lets you buy individual component pieces 10 for $2.50 with pretty reasonable shipping. They're also now selling premixes of their components for other games --like wood/stone/gold for Kingsburg
For those who already bought Vegimeeples from Lookout, by my calcs it is still cheaper to buy the "Deluxe Euro-Expansion" pack and get some duplicates than it is to piece out the remaining resource tokens.
But for those that have already pilfered their copy of Stone Age or A Castle for All Seasons for those resource tokens, the ability to buy just the several sets of 10 reeds directly from Mayday is a nice option.
And for those who have already spent the several days stickering their tokens and are just looking to remove the only remaining cardboard currency, food, buying the several denominations of food tokens directly from MayDay is also a cheap upgrade.
