I'm thinking that according to the rules, for a 2 player game if one player just gets the money and put it in the chest automatically wins the game? Isn't it right?

It seems so. Therefore the players should ultimately be competing to get the most money.

Points are the victory condition, not money.

If I have $20 and 50 points, and you have $40 and 49 points, *I* win. Assuming that we both passed the donation check, and donated more than the 4 dice rolled.

Ah yes, now I see the special 2-player rule. That makes more sense.

Ooops, I've missed that special rule...

So as long as i've donate €24, I no longer need to pay attention to donations, is that right? Am I understanding the special rule?

Depends on the dice roll. You could get away with as little as 4, if you're lucky. Yes, 24 would always be safe, because the condition is to meet the total of the 4 dice, you don't have to exceed them.

And none of this applies to the 3+ player games, then you only have to donate 1 more than somebody else.

OK, it can be played as a 2-player, but how would it play with one player playing as two ?

I sure like the review of this game.

Thanks in advance.

I doubt there would be much of interest here playing solo. Much of the game is taking the dice, hoping that some will still be there for you next turn depending on what your opponent took, etc.

Whoa, not too fast.

Might want to get a second opinion here.
