Hey guys,
I'm looking and looking and am obviously not using the right search criteria or what not.

I'm looking for the following forums/posts/geeklists (whichever they are):

- On how to get your own cards made in Hong Kong (???) or somewhere like that, 52 cards for 6 dollars approx.? Your own design. This I'd need for my own game, perhaps.

- The IKEA shelves topic, where people discuss which IKEA shelves/bookcases are best to get. I need some, you see...

Cheers and thanks in advance!

Here is one thread discussing IKEA shelves.

http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/320210

Personally, I can recommend BESTÅ. It's shelves are deep and thus perfect for big boxes.

Another topic about IKEA shelves :

Seems to be a recurring concern among boardgame geeks...

Sure it is. Why put too much money in shelves when you should be buying more games (thus more shelves, meaning they really should be cheaper, meaning you could even buy more games, and so on).

Any way I like the EXPEDIT model

I need some sturdy shelves. Depth is important, but sturdiness too. From this other topic I find that these shleves/bookcases aren't all that sturdy, more often than not.

You might be interested in Ikea Hacks. They use IKEA stuff for perverted things, the results are mostly really nice and don't look so... well... normal.

This is about Gorm shelving, but it appears to be cheap & sturdy.

Update here on our final decision. Went to IKEA and checked out the different types. Mainly looked at Billy, Expedit and Besta.

Only Besta was ever a real option. The rest was too flimsy (Expedit) or not deep enough (Billy).

Now have a wall of Besta - 5 cases, with a top case on all five as well!

And we're SOOOOOOO happy with it!

Thanks guys for the help!
