I did not like the way this game played. It almost seams like you should have some form of exploration or map to move "units" with. I try but failed to come up with anything. I even had quadrents that you had to explored and thats how you placed planets. Did anyone have some better rules to help this game?

Um.... I tend to line the planets up. Each player has their own row of terrain cards. Ships that aren't at a terrain are treated as if they're orbiting their side's HQ. Yeah I kinda aped the Star Trek TCG here, but it works with the existing rules.

yeah some cards do seem to be a bit overpowered.

Kinda like with Yugioh and it's, um i forget what they were called, but they were kinda like MTG's power 9. 6 cards everyone used in every deck just because they were that F-ing useful.

Not necessarily broken, just idiotically good.

And several of the cards on your restriction list remind me of them...
