Spent some time getting the counters off the trees today. Will definitely have to clip some of them.
Anyway, I don't like using baggies - they irritate me. I went with Plano boxes as follows (will post pics when I can). Counters are listed L-R across the top, then L-R on the next row, etc. The 3 Plano boxes fit nicely in the game box once you get them arranged.
3448 (6 square fixed compartments): German troops
AT guns - Flak guns
MG/HW Infantry - Engineers
3449 (5 rectangular fixed compartments): British troops
Carriers - Kangaroos - Halftracks
AT Guns - Air Support
Infantry - Engineers - MG/HW Inf.
3500 (up to 15 adjustable compartments): All other counters
(top 2 rows are 6 compartments per)
German OP counters
German Artillery Request
German Reinforce - Turn counter - Dice
British Air Support - Reinforce
British Artillery Request
British OP counters
IP (b Hull Down)
Block (b High Explosive)
CAT (b OVR)
No Move (b Clear/Set)
(bottom row is 3 non-adjustable compartments)
Spent (b Disrupt)
Unspotted +4 (b Disrupted)
Spent/Disrupted +3 (b Disrupted)
For the 3500 box I had to use some dividers from another 3500 - each one only comes with 4 dividers. Luckily I had a couple other 3500s lying around.
Haven't had a chance to play the game yet - or even really look through the rules much - but I'm psyched to dig in. Kudos to MMP for resurrecting this franchise.
I've had success emailing Plano for extra dividers when needed. They send them right along with no questions asked.
Right now, I'm using the counter trays produced by GMT Games.
I can stack two trays in the box.
