I am organizing a Crokinole Tournament for Saturday April 25th.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED TO PLAY!
On Friday, I'll continue to collect/recruit teams. To play, you need a partner and a willingness to have fun. (In fact, if you want to play and don't have a partner, contact me and I'll help you find someone. Its like eHarmony.)
I will teach the game to anyone interested in learning, and there will be ample opportunity for practice and some exhibition games on Friday. You can expect a game to take about 10 minutes, using the tournament scoring....so this tournament is not a large time commitment.
On Saturday we will conduct the matches. You need to plan to be there most of Saturday to participate.
I expect to be using single or double elimination (depending on the response).
And most importantly, at stake is a Fabulous Prize of AWE!! Seriously, I'd love it if we can get like 32 teams.

Hmmm...we can probably purposefully do things to wrap it up by about 5pm. Sign up. Worse that can happen is you forfeit a match for the championship, but I'll just make a point to start it around noon and I think we'll be done by around 5PM, barring massive entries.

It's now possible that I may get the day off on Saturday (switching shifts).
However, my girlfriend can't get off work on Saturday.
I'll know by Wednesday (or Thursday at the latest) if I'll be off work on Saturday.
If I'm off, I'd like to sign up for the Crokinole Tournament.

I want to be a part of this...but i need a partner. My history of crokinole is a single playing...a game that i won, so I am not terrible. ANd i bring a storied history of success in PitchCar with wins in 2/3 of the races.

I'll be recruiting teams and helping to pair people up, who may not have a partner, on Friday. I'll also be teaching the game and helping folks get started in some practice rounds. You don't need to sign up beforehand if you're not sure on availability.
