Hey. I love the size of Coloretto & No thanks for just throwing in my pocket. Are there any other good games in a box that small?

Cheese Chasers is a SOLITAIRE FREE PNP card game that I designed, takes 1-5 minutes to play. Printable on 3 pgs of 8.5" x 11" (that includes the pocketmod rule booklet).

Cool thing is that the game fits into a wallet really nicely. Which is smaller than either Coloretto and No Thanks!

The objective is to surround the Cheese Cards while breaking the Mousetraps, and keeping away from the Cats. The catch is that players have to place the next card off of the previously placed card. Lots of folks are calling it fast, addictive, fun and CUTE!

We Didn't Playtest This At All is a good one

I also carry a copy of Werewolf in my jacket pocket (I'm a werewolf freak).

Fluxx is also a good one

Those are just some quick, easy, light, random games

Get a Decktet deck and you can play a couple dozen games with just that deck.

You can get one printed and shipped for just $5.77 with this offer and a little work on your part, or pay a bit more and buy one here without any extra effort.

You've gotten some very good suggestions so far. Here's what I'd recommend of those already mentioned:

Saboteur
Category 5
Archeology: The Card Game
Circus Flohcati
Ziegen Kriegen

And then add these:

Escalation! (not the best game ever, but I've had some fun with it)
Knatsch (a dice game with cards)
Wildlife Safari
High Society (the German version, Einfach tierisch!, is in a small box)
Power Grid (if only they could get this in a small box)
BANG! (not my favorite, but a good one to have)
Money! (either the German version or an earlier English version are in the small box)

Just to warn you, a few of the recommendations you've received from others are not in as quite of a small box as Coloretto and No Thanks (Loot, for example, which is a nice game but Gamewright tends to put their card games in boxes that are bigger than they need to be), so I'd check out some images before you buy just to be sure.

I like both of these games for their size, speed and fun per ounce. The trio that I take with me is Coloretto, No Thanks! and Circus Flohcati.

Yes, I forgot they do make the smaller boxes. Nevermind.

THere's no love for the follow up game by the designer of Fairy Tale - Masquerade A surprisingly big game in a small box. It feels like a board game within the >100 cards.

Court of the Medici is another good game in a small box. It's only 2-players, but it's a very clever little game.

and some other nifty games
Schotten Totten, 2-player. the lighthearted original them of BettleLine
Sluff Off!, great trick taking games. the new german Amigo version comes in a small box
Verräter and Meuterer in even smaller boxes. Small cute role-selection games.

If you're focused on card games . . . don't overlook the plethora of games that you can play with a standard deck of playing cards.

From the BGG Wiki Page: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/Standard_Deck_Playing... (which doesn't even hit all of them)

Another great resource: http://www.pagat.com/

We recently started playing Pinochle again (although its technically not played with a "standard deck") and one of our favorite quick fillers is Lamarckian Poker.

I've always found it nice to have a few of these in the "gaming tool box" to break out in a pinch.
