A two player variant.
You play two factions each, one good and one evil.

For example Player 1 plays Faction 1 and Faction2 and Player 2 play Faction 3 and Faction 4.

The twist is that Faction 1 and Faction 3 are allied (Team 1) (not able to invade or attack each other), and Faction 2 and Faction 4 are allied (Team 2) (not able to invade or attack each other).

Player 1 is trying to get Team 1 to win, this mean play Faction 1 for victory with Team 1, and Faction 2 for sabotage of Team 2.

Player 1 is trying to get Team 2 to win, this mean play Faction 4 for victory with Team 2, and Faction 3 for sabotage of Team 1.

It sound a little far fetched, but when you place your pieces on the game board, it will reveal a lot of different and original strategies. For instance you can use your sabotage faction to remove the other players sabotage unit to get the bonus for a whole color. (You already have all the yellows but one area that your “ally” (played by the other player) occupy. You can not invade this territory before you remove your “ally” by using your sabotage Faction on the other Team
