PW -1 net modifier for Raid marker on board (US 1.5 against Mexican 1)
2 States under US control decrease PW again by 1

PW=31 in total at Turn end

Sorry guys, but our small example ends here, as our weekend is obviously too short.

So my expectation is, that the US troops will have a hard time now regarding this massive Mexican presence of troops. Furthermore the Mexican will have all his leaders on the map next turn. And even if the Mexican government should collapse shortly, we only have two turns left for the first end game roll. Sigh. Next time as the US player I will control the Comanches earlier in the game and won´t attack Zapadores in a fortification. Anyway. I hope you enjoyed our partially session report as we enjoyed our game.

Although it is not easy to get into the rules, there is a high fun factor in this game. Only hard core wargamers be aware, this game is very "gamey" as it is more of a dice fest and many lucky draws than historical simulation. But we like this way.

Interesting strategy with Kearney all the way down to Baja and then naval moving onto Mexican pacific coast, in conjunction with Pillow moving to Mexican gulf coast.

That's right! I forgot that 2-stars let you roll twice for replacements.
