At least two Krogers (grocery store) in Toledo, OH are having a sale on their games right now. I'm not sure if this is a nationwide sale or not. Only their bigger stores carry board games, but these are some of the better ones on sale:

Sorry Sliders - $13.79 (regular price $22.99)
Blokus - $17.99 (rp $29.99)
Apples to Apples - $19.19 (rp $31.99)
Quarto! - $11.99 (rp $19.99)

They stock a few games for impulse/gift purchase reasons, but nothing is consistant. My Kroger has had regular Sorry on sale since Christmas, but nothing else board game wise.

Many of the larger, new "Market Place" Krogers have an aisle or two dedicated to toys.

The one in the Miracle Mile shopping center has stocked board games for a while. (corner of Laskey and Jackman) When the Alexis road store (corner of Alexis and Lewis) expanded they also added several toy aisles including one for boardgames. I haven't checked the one on the corner of Secor and Monroe. (The one in Lambertville and the one on Manhattan are obviously too small to have boardgames)

Only the big Kroger stores in this area have boardgames, but I thought it might be worthwhile to point out the sale.
