Aaawww the poor thing. Deaf, parents murdered, a bad speller AND a stuck shift key. That totally sucks! Did she mention an account number? I'd like to give her some money.

I got this same GeekMail!

Does this mean that she will split the reward between both of us, rather than giving it to just me?

That was a mistake! You can actually have them working on BGG for promises of geekgold. You could get them to find photos of all games missing images, glowing reviews for Game of Life etc. Or carving Commodore 64 keyboards or dice towers...

I used to do some scambaiting when I had more time on my hands (not behind the scambait in the link though) and it's usually worth it because they are always willing to work for the dollar...

That was a bit drastic wasn't it? You could have just had words with the girl instead of using your nuclear capability to remove her!

Streaky is right.

In fact, streaky, give me your bank routing number so I can wire you a donation for the poor little girl. I can't donate to her directly because the Nigerian Prince who is my business partner would not approve.

Assuming this is a linguistic issue (i.e., a French or Flemish speaker), "spam" is either a disgusting food product made out of pork OR in this context, "Unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups; junk e-mail."

I was kidding. See the post directly above the quoted 'innocent question'.

That's what happens when you post jokes without emoticons I guess!

Disgusting? No - generations of Brits were brought up on Spam and it did us no harm. I mean look at our cricket team, look at our net borrowing requirements, look at our financial services industry.....

1: I prefer Beans, Eggs and Spam, Spam, Spam and Spam. With out the Beans and Eggs and with extra spam.

2: So, you mean Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam and Spam?

(Seriously, it was this old Monty Python sketch that gave Spam its name.)
