He might be busy...or in the middle of a game.

Startling. Maybe a charitable BGG user could invite Aldie over for a pleasant evening of Ticket to Ride. As a gateway, of sorts, into this boardgaming hobby.

Perhaps he has played more games, but like me: He doesn't always log them.

Because he's so busy, no doubt. Which begs the question in the subject line.

This is a very good question actually... curious to know the answer from Aldie himself...

That's crazy talk. Of course Aldie logs his games. He even has an experimental wireless brain implant chip that logs them automatically for him.

That seems like a lot of effort to log 4 games.

Luck in games, in measured doses, is the catalyst which enables shocking game-changers that you'll remember and talk about forever.

I'm guessing that there should be more than 4 games logged, but there are still a few bugs in the system.

Thanks for asking...

I've been playing a lot of D&D 4ed. Many in our game group have switched over to this right now and we've been having 1-2 hour sessions each week using online tools (MapTool and Ventrillo).

I used to host a bi-weekly game group at my house, but I haven't had a lot of time to do that recently. I would like to start that back up again.

I did play a bunch of new stuff at the Gathering of Friends, and the one game that sticks in my mind is Witch of Salem. Nothing else really excited me.

Re: Not recording games
I've tried recording games but it's just not something I can do properly. I've tried using my memory and various game journals. I just can't get in the habit of doing it. The games in my profile right now are test cases. I don't eat my own dogfood with regards to this. I rely on Matthew Gray mostly for a lot of the games played stuff and what to track. He's a great game play recorder.

So no nightly after-work gaming sessions? I was being a little facetious about the busy thing. But it really does sound like you game less than would be expected.

I game a lot less than I have in the past. I think that once RPGG is rolled out, I'll have more free time.

Sorry to ask a "stupid question" but I'm pretty new around here so could you tell me what "RPGG" is? I found "RPG" in the glossary, but...

You have BoardgameGeek (BGG) and in time we'll have Role Playing Game Geek (RPGG).
