Here is the first vote on the Benchwarmers competition. This is the competition for games that didn't make the cut for their teams.
Games will be evicted from the bench each week and put out of their misery. The last 2 games from each group will make it into the knockout stage.
Poll: Poll: Group H: Benchwarmer Big Brother
Vote for the game to evict from this Group, or in this case, take around the back of the stadium and shoot.

The Wisdom Of Kitty Tilly - Week 1

Modern Art v Game Of Thrones
Game of Thrones is a good game based on a superb series of novels and will go on to win many matches I am sure, but Modern Art is THE classic bidding game. A good match up but only one outcome.......What's that?.... what outcome.... oh right, I see... yes the only outcome is voting for Modern Art so that Modern Art wins... Keep up at the back now.

Vinci V Arkham Horror
At the Manchester games club Vinci continues to be played on a regular basis. A design that has stood the test of time well. The mechanism to choose the characteristics of the empires is smooth and ensures great balance as well as making each game unique. Vinci deserves a win here.

Battle Cry v Doom
Why is Battle Cry so overlooked? Memoir 44 gains all the ratings and plaudits, yet the system derives from battle Cry and is far better suited to the civil war period. Complexity and sexy unit types do not necessarily improve the game. I believe Doom is based on a computer game; need I say more?

Railway Rivals v Loco
Railway Rivals is the granddaddy of them all. This is rail gaming designed to be played, as a game, for fun. As a child I played with my non-gaming family and loved it. As an adult I play it with competitive gamers and still love it. And hey, you get to crayon on the map; what's not to like.

DungeonQuest v Battlestar Gallatica
I have heard good things about Battlestar. Good luck to it. But Dungeonquest is again a classic of its type. This is Dungeon Crawling as it should be. Quick, competitive and hard to win.

Gulo Gulo v Conan
Conan is a great fictional character, but I bet if Robert E Howard were around today he would be playing Gulo Gulo with his kids!

High Society v Android
High Society is Herr Knizia at his best. The only game currently rated 10 by Kitty Tilly (not that ratings mean anything!). A simple game with two great rules to set it apart - you can make no change with your cash and biggest spender cannot win. These make every contest balanced and tight. Come on vote for this beauty!
