Someone in a thread was asking about a site comparing various tactical wargames.

I hope this helps.
Mr. Michael Dorosh has a nice website that lists tactical wargames (boardgames, PCs, etc). It looks like a good starting place if you want to know the game scale and era covered (it is also a fun site to peruse):

Lots of interesting stuff on the site.

While visiting Calgary a few years back, Mike was kind enough to show me around some of the local sites; local regimental museums, Tim Hortons etc. Nice place but too cold for me.

It seems to be focused on WWII, with a little bit of modern thrown in.
