For those of you who have played both Hold the Line and Manoeuvre - which game do you like better and why?

Thank you for any help you can give.

Well, I'm afraid it'll have to wait. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman round here?

Manoeuvre is more original and a superb little game. I prefer Hold the Line because is more accurate in that it simulates actual battles and you have a bit more control over your forces.

Manoeuvre strikes me as more of an abstract games with card play and die rolls. There's no specific battles being simulated.

Hold the Line, while stylized in the same manner as Commands & Colors, does attempt to simulate specific AWI battles.

Hold the Line all the way. It's more interesting and less abstract. I'm also not a big fan of Napoleonics either.
