What game to play?
Who goes first?
Where to eat?
Which wire to cut?

Life is full of decisions...stop making them.

Eeny Meeny is an iPhone/iPod Touch app. Just enter two to six choices, providing text and/or picture labels, and touch the “Choose” button. Eeny Meeny will employ the latest in Technofusic Quantum-Probabalistic Choosenator technology to determine the optimal choice for you.

Eeny Meeny website

To spread the word about the wonders of Eeny Meeny I'm having a contest. Just post an example of a difficult decision below, one entry per person, before 11:59pm PST, Friday June 5th. Three winners will be chosen randomly from the entries and will each receive a promo code* for a free Eeny Meeny download - a prize valued at nearly one American dollar!

Examples:
"Guys, what should I do? Should I take the car, or should I take Debbie?"

Would you rather get a poke in the eye or a kick in the groin?

Which one game would you save from your burning house?

*Note: The promo codes must be redeemed in the US iTunes Store.

edit: spelling error

Should I let my son win at chess to build his self esteem
or
Should I continue to beat him to teach him that things are not free and life is hard.

Write a bad review of an utterly awful, independently published game that the novice designer put a lot of hard work, money and love into...

OR

Silently trade said loathsome game away to an unknowing fellow BGG'er who might have steered clear of it after hearing my bad review and forget the designer's e-mail address...

So much for any more review copies!

Self esteem based on lies is a disaster in the making.

Should I continue watching the show on Discovery about Billy Mays and the Brit, or should I go to the kitchen and satisfy my hunger for pretzels?

Before I get to my question for Eeny Meeny, I wanted to answer the 'which game to save from the burning house'...

Now, there are some good games in big boxes, and solid favorites of mine (Agricola, Puerto Rico, Acquire), but to be practical and to pick a game that works with a big group - deserted island or neighbors without homes, whatever... I would grab the bullet. BANG! That is the game of choice. Works with any number 2-8, and is quick, just a deck of cards, really. The firemen will thank you later for the laughs.

Work for a balance of the two.

I mean, if I were playing Kasparov all the time, I'd just lose interest. It's a foregone conclusion to play chess against someone many levels higher than you.

BUT...if the game can be tight and just at the end he makes a mistake and loses, you have to take him down for that. It's just how it is. It will also be obvious to him that you're letting him win, if you don't---especially at the end.

Self-esteem based on winning chess, or winning in general, is a disaster in the making.

Thanks Brad! This could be dangerous (or incredibly useful), I'm notoriously bad at decision making. I look forward to testing the choosenatoring technology. I'll definitely leave a review as well.

I still use this app to choose starting players. Board games are developing more and more bizarre ways to select this, and overcomplicating it.

THANK YOU, Eeny Meeny! Thank you, Brad!
