Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can recommend some good web sites that sell board game bits for prototyping games and whatnot.

I'm looking to buy a decent amount of either cubes, pawns, or discs so that my friends and I can start up a Bloodbowl league on the cheap. It also wouldn't hurt to have these sites for when I'm designing games.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Other places to think about:

Your local home improvement center and local craft store.

Both often have stones, tiles and other bits and bobs.

I also get a lot of stuff for Prototyping from craft stores like Michaels and A.C. Moore.

Also, thrift stores - I'm primarily thinking about buying games for parts, but you never know what you might find there. The disadvantage is that you can't rely on what you need being in stock, but what you do find should be inexpensive!

Thanks for all of the recommendations. I ended up buying some meeples and dice. I'll definitely use these web sites in the future.

http://www.eaieducation.com - look in the math section, especially probability (for dice) and counting & sorting (for cubes, disks, etc). They frequently have sales, too.
