So I got my copy today and it was missing one bronze player piece.

Does anyone know the process to get replacement parts and how good is ravensburger about doing it?

Do what you can, with what you've got, where you are.

Alternatively, take it back from where you got it and put the responsibility on them to replace it.

I got it in trade, in shrink.

Your only option is to email to Ravensburger, or whomever is the publisher in your country, customer support and tell them that you received your game in shrink wrap and a piece was missing.

Beyond that, there is no other option since you didn't buy the game from a dealer. Unfortunately, that is the risk you take when you don't buy a game from a store.

I ended buying a copy from a BGG user because she had picked up a second copy while waiting for a couple replacement tiles from Ravensburger. She did receive them. They were still in a little Ravensburger parts baggie when I received it from her.

I've found Ravensburger to be very responsive when pieces are missing.

UPDATE:

I emailed Ravensburger on June 3 and I still have not received a response.
I'm having very low hopes on this one.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what a good next step might be?

I've played three games now and haven't come lose to using them all on any given turn. I know it doesn't help in wanting a 'complete' copy, but it should be 'playable'.

SUPERUPDATE:

I got the piece in the mail today.
In one game, I wound up needing all ten counters, but the tenth one is kind of a moot point, isn't it?

Three for tech, on for turn order, six to show what you've bought.

Theoretically you could hit 11: 3 for tech, one for turn order, and buying all 7 items possible.

But yeah, not a problem in reality.
