So far, I have played only one boardgame on the Korean War - The Korean War .

It is one of the better Operational Level wargames out there.

What games covering that conflict have you enjoyed?

Jackasses? You let a whole column get stalled and strafed on account of a couple of jackasses? What the hell's the matter with you?

Thanks for a good heads-up, Will. The Korean War really is a forgotten piece of American history, and it shouldn't be.

Every once in a while, someone challenges me on the justice of the Korean War. "Did we really need to fight the commies over that one?" The best response I've got is this:

Yeah. We really did. Millions of people have lived better lives for fifty years because we stopped the North Koreans.

Korea: The Forgotten War is pretty good. I played a good part of the campaign game and it went pretty historically. Unfortunately had to pick it up just when I was about to do the Inchon invasion.

The new S&T has a game about the Chosin breakout that looks pretty interesting: Chosin: X Corps Escapes the Trap

Looks like the North Koreans are more advanced in their energy conservation efforts.

North Korea is actually WAY ahead in Green Technologies.

No urban/industrial carbon footprint to speak of.
