I am a Canadian hoping to get a good price on a game in New York while I am visiting. Anyone know a cheap, well stocked place?

The Compleat Strategist (http://www.thecompleatstrategist.com/) is really the only game store left in Manhattan. They are pretty well stocked, but you won't be getting many deals there. Still, it's fun to browse and sometimes they have old games on sale.

TCS is right by my office and I frequently swing by there during lunch. I try to buy a game there now and again, but pretty much everything is MSRP.

If you're looking to capitalize on the "I'm in the US and I want to buy games" thing -- why not visit one of the US gamestores and have them ship to your hotel or whatever. Shipping -- even overnight shipping -- won't be more expensive than paying MSRP if you buy enough games.

If you're only looking for, like, one or two games, though, it's probably not worth the trouble (though, if you're here long enough, you could build up a nice order, get the free shipping and this post just seems to be going on and on and on -- sorry).
