The GMT site only had 2nd edition for download. Is the 3rd available somewhere?

Also, while I see 1960 has a shorter play time, is 1960 also easy to learn via the rulebook and to teach others? Thanks.

The third edition rules are the same as the second edition rules.

I can't comment on 1960, but I found Twilight Struggle -very- easy to learn and to teach, and I have very little wargame experience, especially of this genre.

I personally think Twilight Struggle is easier to teach than 1960.

There is no 3rd edition. (there was a third *printing*, but it was a reprint of the 2nd edition).

TS is easier to teach but harder to learn.

I'd say it's "harder to master." Learning the rules is not all to difficult. Mastering the card play is the longer process.

I find 1960 much easier to teach because one you've explained it, you've explained it. In TS further teaching is required every time the newbie doesn't understand the card (which is often).
