Hello, guys

I will immigrate to Syd next week and I am a really fans of BG. With over 300+ games of collection, I wanna make friends in BG circle in Syd.

Could you recommend the most famous groups or clubs in Syd for me? Thanks!

Besides ordinary BG, I also play MTG online and Warhammer Fantasy Battle. Have not idea where can I find these kinds of Clubs. Please help me~

That I know of...

This group http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/136413 meets very close to Chinatown.

This group http://www.boardgamegeek.com/forums/guild/234 is not too far away.

Some shops in town often carry adverts in their shops for people looking for game opponents, eg Tin Soldier @ 40 York St and also online http://tinsoldier.com.au/forum/index.php

A good shop to check out would be Good Gameswww.goodgames.com.au.
They are located above KFC on George St opposite Central Station. Only a couple of minutes walk from Chinatown. plenty of tablespace and stocking Magic, etc. Plenty of people looking to play.

Hi. I will move to Sydney early next year. I really like to get more information on BG here. Now I'm worrying about how to bring my collections all the way from ShangHai to Australia...
To Gary, you could check another thread which tells about lunch time board games near Central station.

At the moment, the gaming group that used to play at Good Games is now relocated in a pub on Broadway.

This being said, we can always organize some lunch time sessions back at the good old Good Games shop. I'd be keen for it personally.

Please post on http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/136413/page/34 and say what/when you'd like to play. I can usually play Wed and Thu.

Cheers,
Bastien.
