Life is too short not to live it up a little!

Hi, All! First off, apologies since my question is about a non-boardgame. I've been unable to find anything outside the game's own website about this one and I'm looking for comments/reviews.

I've been ALL about boardgames for a good, long while now and haven't done much at all with RPG's. At Origins today, I saw the RPG called Shard and I'm...rather smitten. blush Does anyone know anything about the game OR have a link to a review or anything to give me an idea of what folks have to say about the game? (Of course, it may be brand-new and there aren't many comments. Haven't paid attention to the RPG scene for awhile...) Of course, the game's website makes it look wonderful!!!

THANKS!

Never heard of it. RPG.net doesn't even seem to have a review of it... Is it brand new? That may explain why.

WELL, I'm dumb. shake I misread something re. the game and thought it had been out for several months. It's debuting at this year's Origins!!! Guess that explains the lack of reviews!

I was back at the convention today after checking out the website last night. Ending up purchasing the whole giddyup except for the art book. Very nice-looking stuff!

I ALSO got the not-as-new Hollow Earth setting which features nazis and dinosaurs! Can't beat THAT combo! Looks like I might just roleplay again before I die!!!

I'm a big RPG fan. But anthropomorphic RPG? In small does maybe, cat people in a sci-fi game for example. But a whole anthropomorphic RPG doesn't really grab me.

Liono's crotch certainly gets central placement in this shot, huh?

I think I need to go claw my eyes out, I can't banish the sight beyond sight.

I've been talking with the guys at Shard RPG about doing a review of the game. You can download a quickstart guide at their site.

Also, Hollow World Expedition (also called HEX) is a great game, and the creator Jeff Combos is a hell of a nice guy. It is a great RPG.
