FRONTLINE…

Ever since announcing Frontline we have been receiving requests to post an After Action Report (AAR). We have now assembled and uploaded one! This small battle does a great job of showing the flexibility, options, and player decision-making inherent in the system. The battle includes small arms, a machine gun section, and a mortar section. The battle runs smoothly and quickly while the sections move, shoot, and sustain damage. Please check it out!

We have also added a page illustrating the cool new terrain/range mechanics we’ve created for Frontline.

The updated slideshow shows off some of Wan’s new artwork for German soldiers and Terrain cards.

The rules have also been updated. We’ve added more rule sections along with details for cards and counters.

PHANTOM LEADER…

Phantom Leader has also gotten some love!

We’ve uploaded a detailed AAR of a USAF strike mission to take out a nest of SA-2s up north.

We’ve added the back cover, and it looks awesome!

PRE-ORDER NUMBERS…

See the game pages for the updated pre-order numbers for Frontline and Phantom Leader. We are getting close! We will soon be putting out the call for people who pre-ordered to give us permission to print their names on the boxes!

Just press "Quote" and copy the urls directly from the quoted text.

Just read the range explanation and it seems to work very well. Frontline is a game I'm very interested it so far

As I read about Frontline I felt because it sounded like it could not be played solo. I read further and when it had a solitaire mechanic included.

Lovely graphics Dan

Copied from our blog…

The response to the Frontline and Phantom AARs has been wonderful!

We have received extremely positive feedback, and the pre-orders for both games have jumped!

Next week, we’ll upload 2 more. Frontline will include a look at vehicles, and Phantom will cover a US Navy strike mission.

After reading the AAR for Frontline, I can now say I'm honestly really excited! Still trying to wrap my head around a couple of things, i.e., how to set up our own games/scenarios and how the terrain cards are used for that, (but I am old after all) but looks good.

Later edit ... As much as I'd like to, especially to get it out earlier and support DVG, I won't be pre-ordering this one but will get it at my local gaming store when it gets released. The minimum $US23 price to get it sent via post to Canada is way way too much to pay. CDN$82 with shipping, yikes.

But I will buy when it becomes available for my local game store, J&J Cards and Hobbies, to buy from their wholesalers.
