Hi war gamers,

I come here to ask you a favor...

I received the counter sheet of C3i #22 as I own Fields of Fire, and there are some errata counters on it. On the same sheet there are also the counters needed to play the Men of Iron module Agincourt. I have printed this game some months ago and played it (nearly) once: setup and first couple of turns and than interrupted by my 3Y old, who really wanted to see what daddy was doing, and as such (by accident), let the counters-filled map fall on the floor... can't blame him, can I?

Now that I received the counter sheet, with the much nicer real counters for this game, I really wanted to try it again (maybe better when my son is in bed ). Off course the real counters are bigger than those I printed and as such the map I printed is to small. I was thinking and planning to reprint the map on a larger scale, but than I had a splendid idea: "somewhere there must be fellow war gaming BGGers who bought C3i #22 and don't need the inserted Agincourt map. Maybe I could start a 'begging' thread on BGG..."

As I am sure that the inserted map of C3i #22 will be much nicer than everything I could print and assemble, this is the favor I am asking:

"Is there any one who bought C3i #22, doesn't need or want the Agincourt map, and would be willing to send it to me?"

Off course I will pay for postage (I live in Belgium)! And I also want to donate you all the I have, although you might find it a bit on the low side... And yes I know this request borders begging... blush

Thank you for reading this!
And for replying if you do! cool

Christopher, I have a copy that you can have. Could I get a pinch of sand from the beach at Dunkerque?

Geekmail me your mailing address....

Cheers, Jeff

Hi Jeff,

That's a real cool idea! We have e deal!

I will get you some sand from the beach of Dunkerque: do you prefer near the casino (centre of Dunkerque), near the harbour er rather at Saint Malo (most eastern point of Dunkerque)?

GM send with my address.

EDIT: I had put Saint-Malo west of Dunkerque shake

Thanks! Actually, how about beaches at Bray-Dunes? That's a wee bit closer to you, and appears to have been on the eastern perimeter of the British evacuation in 1940.... I'll GM my address, too. Cheers!

I went out sailing with my land yacht Sunday evening (sailing session from 19:00h - 21:00h, with setting sun: amazing!), and I collected some sand from the beach at Bray Dunes.

Here is where I got the sand: coordinates: 51.079528,2.503123 (you can input this into google maps...), just near a ship wreck from the escape out of Dunkerque!

here you see where my land yacht club is located, and where I got the sand:

here you see it a little more in detail (where the green arrow is pointed...):

Packet of sand received, thank you. I'll put some in vials for wargaming friends as a curio. Might tuck some in games in which France 1940 figures prominently! Cheers, Jeff
