So, will this be some kind of Acquire set in the Renaissance? If that's the case, it would be great: I was waiting for an economic game wich doesn't look dull nor ugly!

Let's hope this game will NOT include paper money so the waiting will come to his end.

Alcazar actually includes two games. One of them is an advanced version of the well known "Big Boss", which has a few relations to Acquire itself. Castles and mansions are built to earn money and most money wins in the end.
The second game "Alcazar" is a farther advanced version of Big Boss. Money is earned as well, but here it is only a means to an end. Building is a lot more sophisticated and in the end, the final location of each noble is counted, so: Size does matter!

And no, the game will not include paper money but cardboard chits.
