UPDATE: The winners have been chosen and are listed here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/3650959#3650959

Well, it's that time of year again. Someone is going to get a free game. Things are going very good for my family again and I want to pass the good luck on to others.

Here are the rules:

1. This is open to everyone worldwide.
2. Post the game, $30 or less, you would want me to send to you.
3. I will pay shipping for the game. This isn't included in the $30 for the game. So, if shipping is $20 to you, then I will potentially spend $50.
4. Post by 12pm MST (-7 GMT) Sunday July 5th.
5. I will randomly pick a user and will send them their game.
6. Just remember to do something nice for someone in the future.

I hope everyone has fun with this. I know I do. Others have suggested that I donate a game to a charity locally. Trust me, I already do things for my community.

If you are in a country other than the US, please post a link to a local game store/supplier that I will purchase the game from to save on shipping costs. But, if no local store is available, I'll just mail the game from the US. Again, someone, no matter what, has the chance to win a game.

UPDATE: Three other people have already stepped up and are offering games. Thanks http://www.boardgamegeek.com/user/settlerdave, http://www.boardgamegeek.com/user/grumblesmurf, and http://www.boardgamegeek.com/user/Erik17 for also pitching in a chance for someone to get a game.

NOTE: Remember that the game must be $30 or less. And the winner is randomly selected. I'm not choosing anyone. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator to make it fair for everyone.

PS. If you feel like donating games or also giving away a game, go right ahead. The more the merrier.

Here are the threads for the last two ARK:

Wow! Sounds great Troy, and I would gladly pass along the favor to others.

My game of choice would be:

Vikings

It keeps getting recomended for me and my wife to try, but can never seem to find it at our local all day game marathons to give it a try.

This is beyond generous. Even if I don't win I think I'll make a point to give an extra bit of generosity to someone in the near future.

As far as the game I'll go with For Sale

Jet Set.

If everyone did this once in a while, the awesomeness would be 5,000 fold (or however many geeks we have on here).

Thanks for doing this and I hope your family's good fortune continues.

It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

Thanks so much for your generosity. It's always fun to have the chance of winning a new game, so I'll enter.

My selection would be: Get Bit!

FYI if I win: This game is only available (as far as I know) direct from the publisher's website www.robotmartini.com

Wow! What a great idea—I had not seen this the first two times. I will enter The Red Dragon Inn 2 as my choice.

And, if Troy doesn't mind, I would like to take care of my own Random Act of Kindness right away, by offering to pay for a second free game to give away. I will abide by the same rules as listed above (any game up to $30 plus shipping); Troy can randomly pick a second game that I will donate. Troy, just make sure that I don't end of giving away a free game to myself!

Not to get all mushy, but after being a long-time lurker, I finally took the plunge and signed on as a user to BGG this summer, and it has been great! I have been overwhelmed by the kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity that has been shown to me by my fellow Geeks. (See my GG collected page for conformation of this.) Adding in another free game to give away seems like a good way to say thanks.

This is awesome of you to offer. It's great to see when others start to get into the mood and you get a whole lot of other games being offered up.
