Are there any vendors that won't charge 10 dollars or more to order 6 booster packs of a CCG? My Non-F non-L GS doesn't stock the game I need for a trade, and I just thing that is silly for something that would fit in a manilla envelope.

CoolStuff seems to have reasonable shipping.

http://www.coolstuffinc.com/

Was 99 cents to ship 5 magic boosters via USPS First Class Mail.

I would contact the seller before committing to a purchase. If you inform them that they should be able to fit all 6 boosters in a USPS Small Flat Rate Box ($4.80), they may be willing to reduce their shipping costs.

BTW, what game is it? There may be a BGG member who can make you a comparable offer.

Epic TCG.

I guess if someone was willing to price them out at their FLGS and let me know how much they wanted to ship them to the winner of one of my chains of generosity, that would be totally awesome.

weird that the shipping would change that much, maybe these Epic cards are printed on lead blocks or something. :D

You sure that was for boosters? They offer $0.99 shipping for singles, but I don't see anything special for boosters.

You could buy $100 worth of boardgames from them, then everything including the TCG boosters would ship for free!

heh. YEah, if I had 100 bucks spare right now paying 10 bucks shipping wouldn't be an issue.. lol

I found one place that lets me choose Media Mail as the shipping type, but I don't know if they will actually ship that way.

I have bought several boosters of Epic when it first came out, and I can vouch that they are in fact NOT printed on sheets of depleted uranium.

I added 5 boosters and then calculated shipping from the cart and one of the choices was USPS First Class Mail for 99 cents.

WTF?
If I put in your zipcode, Its still 9.35 for me.
So you are running that with five booster backs of Epic TCG in your cart?
I even tried it with one, and it was still like 6 dollars...

If I clear the packs of Epic out, and replace it with 5 packs of MTG, then its 99 cents.
grrrr.

Even more for me: $7.20 for 1 booster pack of Epic TCG. A wee bit much.

On the other hand, I can order 100 booster packs of Magic 2010 and shipping is only $0.99! What a deal!

Shoot a note to CoolStuff and see if they'll ship you 5 Epic TCG boosters for a couple of bucks. It's worth asking. Then if they agree to that you can help them out by telling them that their postage calculator for MtG boosters is whacked.

I just use Potomac Distribution and order by the box. More cost efficient if I'm eventually going to buy more than a boxes worth of packs anyways.

For those wondering, you don't need a tax ID number or run/own a game store for these rates. They distribute by boxes and cases to anyone.

You do, however, have to buy $150 worth of stuff per order.

Here is coolstuffincs response that was waiting for me this morning:

Thanks for ordering with us. It appears our Epic packs were miss listed at ¼ pound for each pack instead of a much lighter weight. I have since adjusted this weight and should receive a much cheaper shipping cost. If you still do not receive this shipping cost go ahead and place your order and I will refund you for the difference to a cheaper cost. I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion the website may have caused.
