I know my Collection pales in comparison to some others here on the Geek. But after the last Maths Trade and a few small purchases I've passed the 300 mark. So it's not Hard Core, but I'm pretty happy.

My games room has a central table and a large built in deep shelf (deep enough to comfortably hold FF big boxes - but the Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition does 'poke out' just a tad. This shelf holds my AT on the top but is primarily wargames (and those large box Euros)

I've overflowed that shelf to a bookshelf which holds most of my regular box sized Euros as well as any small box items. (The empty slots are for Vikings and Caylus which I've leant out)

Well, I've outgrown that, and added another bookshelf. Which is now my Auxilliary Wargame Bookshelf.

Not shown are my CCG bookshelf (which is basically just a bunch of Snuggler boxes, this also holds a few of my "long" boxes like World Flag Game About the United Nations), Fin Fang Foom (who looms over the Euro Shelf, MUHAHAHA) and Pitch Car.

And without further ado..

That is a pretty big collection. I thought that I had alot of boardgames, but you have more than doubled me.

Now I feel as though I need to go buy more boardgames.

If this isn't hardcore, I'd like to see what is. Fantastic collection, by the way!

"HardCore" / "SoftCore" is about the 'quality' of the pr0n, not the 'quantity'. In REAL pr0n terms: d10-1d10-0d10-0d10-0d10-0d10-0d10-0 wow videos of laydeez smooching laydeez kisskiss = "SoftCore"; d10-1 video of boiz doing improper ninja things to laydeez blush = "HardCore". To me, I see ALL of those little GMT badges and "I" think: "HardCore". thumbsup

Nice collection of wargames! My collection used to be about 80% euro 20% wargame and it is in the process of reversing

Probably at about 50/50 right now.

I'm hovering around 100 unplayed games. Which everytime I play some new ones, some others make their way into my collection! My goal is to get this down to 50 unplayed by Christmas... 2010.

My wife ALSO calls my game collection my porn, which is confusing sometimes.

When she says "porn" does she mean my porn, my games or HER Japanese couples hentai...?

I have a GOOD wife.

Yeah, I think I have the formatting style down pat by now, but I still need to work on the sublime nonsensicality aspect.

This is hot. I am beyond jealous. I need better shelving in our game closet.

Quick question, Randy - how do you handle over-sized boxes? I know for us Tikal is a particular challenge because it's so much larger than our other "bookshelf-sized" boxes.

Sometimes I wonder how many thumbs up I'd get by just firing up an old copy of ELIZA and throwing in random fonts and colours. It seems to work pretty well for some.
