According to the LEGO shop, the 10 new LEGO games are now in stock:
http://shop.lego.com/promotion/?LGS

These include Ramses Pyramid, designed by Reiner Knizia.

Don't know if any of them are any good (most of them seem like remakes of other games) but they sure look nice...

EDIT: On doing some more research, it looks like the games might only be available in UK/Europe at the moment?

A couple of links for more info on the games:

Ditto.

OP said some of these are remakes of other games. Any chance Minotaurus is?

I'll have to follow this closely, since I do business in the UK.

If someone sees them in person, I'd love to see a review.

Very much interested in the dice. Would they be available for sale separately?

Just ran a "simulated" order through Amazon.de & got the dreaded "Dieser Artikel kann nicht an die ausgewählte Adresse versandt werden. (Erfahren Sie mehr.) Ändern Sie entweder die Lieferadresse, oder entfernen Sie den Artikel durch klicken auf "Löschen"." message - which means they won't ship this to the U.S.

If enough people write in about this, they might change it.

I did. I think these are incredible products for a library gaming setting where they want to run a design-a-game workshop.

If you have your reasons for wanting them in the states, then write and tell Lego!

I really hope they bring these to the US. My son loves legos, not so much into games though. We did play Max a lot when it was just the two of us in hotel after skiing this past winter.

Over the weekend was playing with his younger brother, and he made these figures for us to play with.

So i am thinking that if he gets to build the game first he might be interested in it long enough to play it at least once before he takes it apart and builds it again.

I think that may be (sadly) easier than getting Lego to change their mind. The numbers Lego needs to provide them to the appropriate places (Target, Toys'R'Expensive, etc.) are pretty huge.

from the descriptions here is best guess to game play:

Robo Champ == Cootie
Magikus == Nim
Monster 4 == Pente
Lava Dragon == Magic Hill
Race 3000 == Mille Bornes express (the Dice Game) possibly Hurry'Cup!
Pirate Code == Mastermind multiplayer or possibly Coda
Minotaurus == Quoridor
Lunar Command == no clue. maybe Rummy with dice? possibly close to Cootie
Ramses Pyramid (Knizia) == Château Roquefort
Creationary (also Knizia) == Barbarossa

I reserve the right to be wrong, though.

They are rather nice.

That's fortunate. So far I can't actually think of anything significant these two have in common.

So do we have any UK or European buddies that can help us out? We would of course pay for the game plus shipping plus a little something for your time...

The possibilities,
A game that allows you to influence dice by changing the sides,
A kit that allows you to put together custom D6 on the spot..
Might have to pick up a couple of these games just to get my hands on the dice.

I emailed Lego customer service in the US about these, asking them to sell them here & also to sell the dice as a separate item.

The more of us they hear from, the more likely they are to do something about it...

I like them too. I picked up Xevoz for similar purposes, although the packaged game was pretty random.

ObOnTopic: My son loves Lego stuff, so I may have to get some of these. Fortunately, he has grandparents in Europe, who can hopefully be persuaded to send birthday presents... whistle

One could mention that the idea of customisable dice is not new.
Zap dice have been around for a while: http://www.snuzzle.com/dice/intro.html

I did write and here was the response...

Quote:
Thank you for contacting us on 07/06/09 and for your interest in LEGO® brand products.

We were excited to learn of your enthusiasm for LEGO sets and other items to be introduced. Product development and the production of our toys is a time consuming (and sometimes frantic!) venture. In order to provide and market quality products which meet LEGO standards, we sometimes need every minute up until their launch to complete this process. Thus, even though we appreciate your passion and anticipation, we are unable to provide "preview" information about upcoming products prior to their release. Besides...we look forward to surprising you!

To me that reads...they are/will be coming...fingers crossed

Looks like Ramses Pyramid already has a page (oh, it actually has two pages - Ramses Pyramid). In fact, I think this is the case for all of these games.

Does this mean we can look forward to hundreds of photos of individual LEGO bricks being uploaded to the gallery?
