...after Lucy yanks the football away.

Report from Saturday gaming: I've never beaten my wife at Scrabble. Ever. So we're playing, along with our son, to 150 points. My final play puts me at 151. I'm feeling pretty good, since my wife needs 27 points to win, and the board is getting crowded.... Suddenly, she finds a way to play a small 9 point word - that also takes in the triple-word square in the corner.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Should've challenged. I'm pretty sure "arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh" isn't in the dictionary.

Re: Feeling like Charlie Brown...
Lights please.

And there were in the same game players abiding at the table, keeping watch over their letters by light. And lo, the angel of the board came upon them and the glory of the board shone about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, "Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people, regardless of vocabulary. For unto you is born this day in the City of Selchow an equalizer, which is Twice the Score. And this shall be a sign unto you. Ye shall find the words wrapped in maddening rows, lying in arrangement." And suddenly there was with the angel a multiplier causing heavy loss, raising challenges and saying, "Glory and nod to the highest, and the worth of Triple Letters score well toward the end."

That’s what Scrabble is all about, Charlie Brown.

Yeah, good call. Only AARGH, AARRGH, and AARRGHH are acceptable in the scrabble dictionary.

Yes, but Charlie Brown wasn't lucky enough to have a wife who enjoys boardgaming with him.

This is another reason why Charlie Brown sits alone, depressed in a cheap motel room doing speedballs and methamphetamines, living on Twinkies with his teeth rotting away. Yanked footballs, Lucy, misunderstanding, envy, enslavement, incompetance, and self-loathing: Charlie Brown has seen it all.

I think it's actually "Augh!"

Maybe it was changed to "Argh" because it got augh-mented.

Hey, at least you have other interactions with your SO that DON'T make you feel like Charlie Brown in mid-air.

Count your blessings.
