It seems to me that this game could appear in Toys-R-Us and other big chains if it was produced for much less with lower quality components.

It just looks like a prime candidate if they could put together a version with the quality of your average Monopoly set...

Why yes I am, IF it wants to be as big and widely placed as Monopoly.

The game is easy enough to pick up and play, the components could easily be downgraded to make the game cheap enough to compete price wise with Monopoly and then appear in common stores in every high street and shopping mall.

The standard price of a FF game will never compete with Monopoly's cheapness.

This game, could do it. Or at least that's what I'm suggesting.

Of course not. For one thing the latter don't have to pay royalties to the designer.
