If I own the wind farm,
How much energy do I pay for making one steel out of Iron at the steel works?

How much energy do I pay for making two steel out of 2 Iron at the steel works?

How much energy do I pay for making 6 steel out of 6 Iron at the steel works?

Thanks for the help

Jon

It only applies once per action. So the discount is -3 energy in all three examples, making one iron cost 2 energy, two iron cost 7 energy, and 6 iron cost 27 energy. This also means it only powers one ship, convert 6 bread or brick, etc. Any additional energy has to be paid by the owner.

I assume by steelworks (which is a special building) you mean steel mill (standard building). The steelworks converts 1 iron and 15 energy into 2 steel.

One iron to one steel with wind farm would be 2 energy (5-3)
Two iron to two steel would be 7 energy (10-3)
6 iron to 6 steel would be 27 energy (30-3)

We had this come special building come up in a 2 player the other day and found it to be fairly unbalancing. Other thoughts?

I like the Wind Farm, but it hasn't seemed unbalancing to me. I've seen it in two and three player games. If you take advantage of it might provide you with the equivalent of 5-6 coal over the course of the game. How exactly did you exploit it in your session?
