What to say... There are no words to comfort you...

Maybe you should burn this picture and destroy any digital copy - might ruin your reputation.

Btw: You still have your copy of "Streets of Stalingrad" - L2Design in shrink?

Joe's problem is not treating Oregon as a wargame. Clearly you need to flank your opponent and use opportunity fire with each opponent's move. With no CRT, you can't blame the results on bad luck.

You are going about it all wrong.

Man, you miss big time on this - it is amazing. But don't let the community of wargamers know . Might damage your reputation even more - after the Euro - incident one might think you went over to the light side...

Say, I recognized that you wear your hair longer - are you the real Joe Steadman or a Russian copy...).

Wondering if knowing Tom and doing some stuff with him had affected you over time...

(just joking)

I don't know - that's kind of like complaining about a hole in your roof caused by a bag of gold falling from the sky.

a) You have a wife
b) You have a wife that tolerates your hobby
c) You have a wife that tolerates your hobby and also participates in your hobby, albeit only with Euro games.

If that's torture......

Well on the plus side Oregon is a good game, and if you go to a happy place you can imagine that you are a gun fighter and taking the points by wits and the skill in you gun hand? No... well I tried.

Take one of these and hold it in your hand while you play. Periodically, point it at your cousin as if it were being fired. Smile evilydevil, let a small chortle come from deep within. And act like nothing happened!ninja
