Hi folks ... I have a very simple question ..

I'm trying to remember the name of a game i saw on this sight ... but I only have very little info about it ...

Basically as far as I can remember, it was a euro style board game where lots of famous people from history keep cropping up throught the game . That's it! I can't remember anything else about it!

Would anyone have any suggestions as to what game that might be?

It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

You know, they say there was a man who jumped from the forty-FIFTH floor? But that's another story...

No, not Through the Ages ... although I reckon it's a similar style... possible newer than that?

I seem to think the cover of the box, whilst mostlyin colour, had a belt of black and white figures running across the middle (these faces/people being the famous people in history that appear in the game)

Were there dice? Cards?

Mechanics?

This might help narrow it down.

Actually, it's possibly NOT newer than Through the Ages at all ... just noticed Through the ages is 2006 ... it could be older than this.

I've only got the cover of the box to go by unfortuntely ... their was a brief description on the box ... which simply sounded like a romp thru history with leading/key figures turning up throughout the game to play their part :-O

That's weird. This bit used to mention Shire Games, and tell you all how wonderful we are. But it seems to have got deleted. Let's see what happens this time ....

No, not Heroes of the Worldeither , unless it was an older box cover I was looking at ... nor Duel of Ages ... although both these two look GREAT!

was there a series of games by Empire Games ? For some reason that rings a bell, but I looked at so many yesterday i can't tell what was connected and what wasnt !

All i can remember from the box was this definate band across the middle of white, with black penned pictures of faces/people from history ... the rest of the box cover was in colour i think ..

I think some of the Historical characters represented, and therefore presumably in the game were Marco Polo/Christopher Columbus possibly ... but then also like Shakespeare plus others!?? (possibly)
