Not even Mrs. Mystery Bob.

And this is just one of the thousands of reasons why:

This ain't gonna happen in Florida.

Beautiful women, big guns, snow covered mountains, dead animals. Now that's America!

Actually, in all the travel I do (3-4 times a year), I always come back glad to be home. I loved Key West and can't wait to get back there, but otherwise I'll take my 10,000 gorgeous lakes, psychopathic politicians, and low crime any day.

I'll be happy to send you some snow however...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, South Florida...

#1 in Road Rage

Uncontrolled urban sprawl

Big Sugar poisoning the Everglades

Local elections based not on what can be done for the county, but on who hates Castro more.

Lost my roof in hurricane Andrew

And a part of my roof in Wilma

Yep, gotta love it... and it's so much easier to love from up here in Virginia!

edit: I do miss Stone Crabs and lobster mini-season.

I've never been that big a fan of the state I live in (Virginia, just like Steve), but I gotta admit, everything posted here makes me appreciate Ol' Virginny a whole lot more! No hurricanes, no tropical sun, no frozen tundra, and best of all, no gun-wielding ladies! (Of course, we specialize in knife-wielding, penis-slicing ladies!)

Okay, that could have certainly been more clearly designed. But I don't think I would have had a moment's confusion if I had to deal with it in the voting booth. So y'all still ain't off the hook for the previous 8 years!

Are you referring to the inclusion of Pat Buchanan on the ballot? No, that wasn't your state's fault.

What's wrong with Tasco? Mind you, I haven't been hunting in 18 years or so, but I recall seeing a lot of Tasco scopes on rifles back in the day...

They are a very cheap scope, good beater scope but if you want quality avoid them at all costs. Not to say they havent made any good scopes but they are just what their nickname implies in shooting circles...trash, quantity doesnt have quality of its own when one is arming ones self. The nick has been around for a long time, how long not sure but my dad is in his 60's and he heard it being bantered around during his gun club days. The problem is the research backs up the fact they are trash.

The funniest episode I ran into at a gun show were these 2 marines and the one had just bought him a Trashco Spec Ops Sniper something or other scope...the dealer had the smuggest grin on his face and the Marine was just so uber excited...you'll get fleeced anywhere if you dont do your research. The other Marine was in a daze as his bud went on and on about what it had on it and such...for the price he paid he could have gotten himself a VERY nice Leupold scope and been able to see what he was trying to shoot at.

Sorry for the long diatribe, fact wise you'll find for the money that tasco just doesnt perform at the distances better manufactured scopes can in terms of clarity and site picture.

#1- This was NOT in my voting district.
#2 - It WAS in a voting district with a high percentage of elderly voters!! (I was going to type "retired" but I know where THAT would lead!!! shake )

kiss

So, since all voters are not young, intelligent, and have common sense, I would venture to say that we could be off the hook!!!

Well... it worked just fine on that big ass Muley buck. I'm guessing that if you're a competent enough hunter... like the comely lass pictured... you don't need to shoot at any great distance.

Never take a bazooka to a knife fight, eh?
