Good afternoon,

I haven't received my copy yet and would like to find a suitable Black Knight and Lancelot models while I wait. I thought I read somewhere that they're 40mm miniatures.

I tried searching these forums for keywords "size" and "mm."

Thanks!

It's more like 28mm. I used a Saruman from LOTR to be Merlin (before I bought the expansion) and a bunch of knights from Reaper Miniatures to be the alternate Knights (in the Merlin expansion).

Thanks fellas. I'm looking over Reaper minis for a Black Knight and a Lancelot miniature and found suitable candidates. You folks know the scale of the Reaper minis though?

Looking through their "about us" section, they talk about 25mm a few times, so I'm assuming they sell exclusively 25mm minis.

If they are 25mm scale they should do for shadows over camelot.

This seems to confirm that they are indeed 25mm.

Thanks guys!

Settled on this guy to be the Black Knight:

and this fellow to be my Lancelot:

Lancelot may not be entirely accurate, but I dig his ornate armor.

Some other candidates for the Black Knight:

Lastly, walked into Michaels to get some metallic acrylic paints for the above folks, when I stumbled into a $5 painted red dragon:

Going to touch him up a lot, but I felt he was a bargain.

Bought some Playmobil plastic toy swords from ebay. About $12 + $4 shipping USD for 16 swords.
