World in War: Combined Arms 1939-1945

With the exchange rate the cost to the US is less than $30 shipped.
Game has 50 people wanting it and only 11 trading.

It's also OOP and the company that produced it looks like it's folded.

www.levalet.com look under specials section.

Must disagree with David. I think it's a ball. Whether it bears any resemblance to the WW II ETO is a matter for debate, but it has its clever aspects, it's fun to look at and quite replayable. One thing's for sure, if you don't kick the allies out of France at the beginning, Axis player, you WILL be sorry for the rest of the game.

And everybody HAS to love airplanes in this game, they are the game-winners.

For $30, I'd almost buy a second copy if I had the shelf space . . . .

I am in the camp of agreement on buying for $30. It is a quick and easy game with replayability.

You appear to be in the minority based upon the 76 comments, 6.74 rating, and the 159/11 users owning/trading ratio.

Also, looking at your owned games list you seem to like meatier wargames...so I can see why you might not like it. It seems to fit well between Risk and Axis and Allies from the comments, both of which are not aimed at the hardcore grognard.

Anyone considering this should know that the company that produced it is no longer in business so this game will probably never be available again once the last copies are sold. I for one am glad I own it.

I'm in - also picked up Ur and Yellowstone Park. Look like they will be good, easy games to play with the kids this summer.

All in, $50 out the door.
