Colleague #1: What's the name of Harry Patter's school? Glendale?

Colleague #2: No! Glendale was from Saved by the Bell.

It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

You know, they say there was a man who jumped from the forty-FIFTH floor? But that's another story...

Reminds me of a story when I used to work for McDonalds:

Girl #1: I so want to see Romeo & Juliet when it comes out.

Girl #2: Yeah that looks great!

Me: Why would you want to see it? Everyone dies at the end.

Girl #2: Stop that!

Girl #1: Yeah, why did you tell us the ending. Now the movie is ruined.

Me: Huh?

Freshman year of high school in my school district, Romeo & Juliet was required reading. You cannot become a Sophomore without reading it. These girls were Juniors...

Gut reaction: keep your distance from the person who knew the school from Saved by the Bell.

I guess I should keep away from myself. The school in Saved by the Bell is Bayside.

I sure hope "Harry Patter" was your intentional misspelling. Because, see, it's funny that way.

Aye--that's how she pronounced it.

This thread is now about how R+J ends according to a director.

Spoiler (click to reveal)
In the Brett Ratner R+J, R+J end up discovering they are siblings, marry anyway and the Terminator comes to dance with them.

When green is all there is to be, it could make you wonder why. But why wonder? I'm green, and it'll do fine: it's beautiful, and I think it's what I want to be.

I was in a production of R&J a few years back. The actress playing Juliet would comment that in the tomb scene, when she would awake from the dead to find Romeo's corpse, and she would take out the "happy dagger", inevitably she'd hear some audience member gasp "she's going to kill herself!"

As grey traces of dawn tinge the eastern sky, the three travellers, men of Willowdale, emerge from the forest's shadow. Fording the river, they turn south, journeying into the dark and forbidding lands of The Necromancer...

I don't know whether I should be appalled that there are audience members at a performance of R&J that do not know the plot or envious of their ability to enjoy the performance just like those at the Globe hundreds of years ago.

And, don't forget that Shakespeare gives away the ending only 6 lines into the play.
