What do the red hex numbers mean that you get on some paragraph checks?

Could someone please elaborate on this?

Maybe give an example of how they (Red Hex Numbers) actually work?

Thanks much.

When a paragraph calls for a German to move, look up his present hex in the grid (for the current condition) and a red hex designation will direct you where to move him. For example, a German might be in H12 and the red designation might say H11, indicating to move the German to H11. If his movement points allows for another move, then look up, say, H11 in the grid and another red designation will direct the German from there.
