Hopefully I'll get this game in August, but I have a question.

Can you set your lineups differently than the normal batting the pitcher 9th? I am a firm believer in Tony LaRussa's strategy of batting the pitcher 8th so you have a better shot at getting the top of the lineup more at bats.

Stupid question, I know but if anyone could answer it, I'd appreciate it.

It shouldn't be too difficult, it just depends on your memory.

When your eighth hitter bats, use the pitcher result if the card has one. And when your ninth hitter bats, use the results for the eighth hitter, again, if it has one.

First, I thought that you had a good question. And second, Darren is right.

May you enjoy playing Pizza Box Baseball for years to come!

For a specific lineup change like this, you could even consider doing an overlay to the pegboard that read "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-P-8," just to indicate that that's what you're doing and to cut down on error.
