This is due to the fact that a new printing is scheduled for the end of the year. FRED's been hush-hush as to what if any changes/corrections will be made in the next printing. I for one am holding out for the upcoming printing.

The errors in this edition are easily fixed with an ultra-fine point Sharpie and the ability to draw a light-bulb (or something closely approximating one), and the component quality is much improved over the 2nd edition. For that price, I would grab it if I didn't already have a copy.
