I'm about to send DoD to printing on high quality card stock. I'm excited to print it and play it.

My question: Should I also print IoD and IoD2? How similar are they to DoD and each other? After playing DoD, are the others going to feel stale and repetitive?

All 3 games share the same basic mechanic - you are a an adventurer, who goes around fighting/exploring. Your hand is health. One card in your hand - you are almost dead. Other cards track your gold/time spent/items.
But each has it's own twists.

Personally, I have all 3. Plus Galaxy of D.

Yup, IOD2, DOD and AOD.
IOD2 is simpler and quicker than DOD (IOD2 has a Flash game version, try it!), DOD is more complex (full blown 1+ hour dungeon crawl game), and AOD is the multiplayer version.
Meanwhile, IOD has different mechanic (using a die).

Cheers!
