Could anyone tell me what this board game is?

(Or a better place to ask the question!)

I'd have to agree - Halma.

Other option - a craft shop made two player Chinese-checkers game?

Since you're new, you probably don't understand the 'thumbs' system here. There is a little green box, with a thumb depicted, beside each post. When somebody does something helpful, you can click that, and the other person gets credited with a 'thumb'.

Thumbs have no real value, but are still nice to collect as they are one measure of contribution to the site. If you go to any users profile page, and click the 'contributions' tab, you can see how many thumbs they have earned.

Welcome to BGG, and enjoy the games!
