This game recently hit the table, and I have to say, the downtime can be rather irritating. Has anybody experimented with the idea of replacing Movement Points after the die roll for Action Points? I get this idea from Conflict of Heroes in which each side gets a number of Action Points which can be used during their turn for active fire, or when it is not their turn for Opportunity Fire. This of course removes the "peek out, shoot, and hide again". I haven't tried it, or even got as far as deciding how many APs are used for a given action (e.g. 1 AP for each movement, 2 AP to fire medium weapon, 3 AP to fire large weapon, etc..)

I think the game would play much better and keep more people involved as they would not have to spend a lot of time sitting there as a spectator..

Thoughts? I may go ahead and draft some ideas when I get a chance.
