I have the french version of the rulebook and it seems to me that something is missing.

In a two players game set-up it says that each player needs to put his 4 "messages" token, one in each corner market place of his district. Then it says that each player put 4 "messages" token of an un-used color on the center market place of his district, and that no Carriage is place on that market...

So my question is: where does each player place his carriage at the start of the game.

Thanks for the clarification.

I have the French version too, and it says : place Messages on your own board, then pick 2 unused colors and place their Messages on each of the 2 extra boards, but do not place extra Coaches. You don't place Messages on the center square at all.

As you answer I just notice that you start with four district... I had misread it and thought you start with only two district... everything is clear now, thanks.

Make sure you've got the right side up of the centre Notre Dame square. One side is 4 players, the other 2.
