One of my Facebook friends posted a note where she had to answer a bunch of questions in succession. One particular answer stood out to me:

So. She could be fully clothed and still be wearing these three items, but of course, the image in my head is of this woman sitting at her computer wearing just socks, panties, and a bra. Is she being clever, or risque? It then dawned on me that the simple use of the word "only" could have cleared up this issue entirely.
The whole thing reminds me of a conversation I had in grad school:
Friend: "Someone made fun of me once. He's dead now."
Me: "Uh ... OK."
Friend: "Well he made fun of me in grade school. He died about fifty years after all that."
