Does anyone know if this game is likely to be re-printed in the near future?

When was the last time it was widely available with retailers?

The reprint is currently on pre-order at GMT. If it gets to 500, no problem, it'll get reprinted as soon as they can squeeze it into the production schedule. However, it is only at 89 at the moment (almost everyone who wants and pre-orders with GMT has it by now... not including me).

However, GMT normally makes a habit of reprinting popular games (which this is) no matter what P500 says, because they know they can get their money through the retail chain, so it will get reprinted at some point, regardless of P500 orders. Right now, GMT is being very conservative on such reprints because they want to keep a ready supply of cash on hand while the economy is in bad shape. So... probably no reprint in the near future. No idea on retailer availability.

I would also like to point out that the sequel game, Pursuit of Glory, is very good, and is still in print. It's the reason why I have the PoG reprint on pre-order.

Many thanks for the info James in regards to both games.
