Glad you liked it. I've told so many people about it, and every person gives me that . But every person has liked it.

Well, when you hear the plot, you're supposed to go:

But it's really a nice movie. "Nice" is probably the most appropriate word. If you hate nice, stay away. There's not an unkind person in the entire film.

Loved the reaction of the church people when told of Lars' new friend: "What would Jesus do?" Well, if their response is any indication, Jesus would be absolutely accepting of the situation.

With regards to not only the church but the whole town... the reaction for us was one of stunned OMG. We watched this about a year back or so... this is such a beautiful movie... showing what caring for someone can lead to when the situation comes down to it.

Definitely an odd, but good movie! A really strange mix of funny but not really funny because you feel like you shouldn't be laughing at it.

Fantastic performances in a delighful film. The townspeople are my favourite part, as is the steeped-in-canadianness of the whole film.

It's fun, it's healthy, it's good exercise. The kids will just love it. And we put a little sand inside to make the experience more pleasant.

You know, they say there was a man who jumped from the forty-FIFTH floor? But that's another story...

Great,great film.

If you liked it, track down a 2002 Scot film entitled Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself. Great and funny story, beautiful acting and the same overall vibe.
